mySD is the State of South Dakota’s Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication strategy for sd.gov services. It allows users to login to available state services with one login.
How do I create an account?
- Click on the "Sign up now" link.
- Enter your email address and click "Send verification code".
- A verification code will be sent to the email address you entered.
- Enter the verification code received into the Verification code field and click "Verify code"
- Enter a password and confirm the password by re-entering it
(Password must be between 8-64 characters, and must contain at least 3 of the 4 following; a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a digit, and a symbol)
- Enter a display name – this will display in the dashboard
- Enter your first and name
- (Optional/not required) Enter your phone number, street address, city, state and zip
- Click "Create"
How do I sign in with existing account?
- Enter your email and password in the fields and click the "sign in" button.
- Select "Forgot your password" after entering your email to reset your password.
How do I create an account?
- No need! If you have a SD State login, you are already setup for this portal.
How do I sign in as a state employee?
- Select the "State of South Dakota Employee" button under the other sign in methods.
- Complete the Microsoft organization login process, if you are not already logged in.
